On Thursday 13th November 2003 a single decker bus was crane-lifted on top of a building on the A40 to mark the opening of a new bus garage. The Metroline bus was lifted on to the Vanguard Storage building on Friday in preparation for the opening of London's newest and most innovative bus garage in Perivale.
